September 2020 UPDATE. On July 5th, the Government gave the green light for church services to recommence. In examining the guidelines and applying it to our context at Alnwick Baptist Church, we have decided to trial meeting fortnightly for 'live' Sunday services in September and October.  In taking this decison, we recognise that we are currently operating at capacity in our current building and therefore we have undertaken a risk assessment to make the building Covid-safe. We will adhere to social distancing measures, the use of facemasks and that singing is not permitted.  Regretably but of necessity, those wishing to attend need to email or ring Chris or Caroline as we have to create a seating plan in adavance and make sure that we are not 'over-subscribed'. In all this, we continue to seek to be a missional church bringing the good news of Jesus to our communities in words and actions. We look forward to being together again in person at the right time when restrictions are lifted both in Lisburn Street and in our Missional Communities. In the meantime we continue to serve the church and the wider community by puttting our virtual services on this website and our Community FaceBook page.
