Hello - My name's Chris and I'm the Community and Outreach Worker for Alnwick Baptist Church. I've been in the post since April 2011, prior to that I was privileged to serve as a funeral director in Alnwick for almost 19 years.
There are many aspects to my role but the primary aim is to enable the church to seek to reach out to our local community demonstrating God's love in a practical way and seeking to build relationships in the process. Our hope through this is, that the way we live our lives and how we seek to serve the community will lead many people to start a journey of faith with Jesus Christ.
I'm married to Caroline and we have 2 children. I occasionally kick a football about for fun and get my running shoes on when the weather is fine! Although Alnwick is all I've known, I was born in Suffolk and therefore follow Ipswich Town FC - this should lead to a lot of abuse, but given the Bobby Robson connection with the North East, I just about get away with being a Tractor Boy!
